Do I need prior experience?
No. FlowRow is just as suitable for beginners as it is for experienced athletes. Thanks to our three course levels, you’ll always find the training that matches your fitness level.
Who is FlowRow suitable for?
For everyone who wants to improve their fitness, prevent back pain or simply enjoy moving. Whether young or old, athletic or beginner – FlowRow adapts to your pace.
What should I bring to the training?
Comfortable sportswear, clean sneakers and something to drink. Everything else – from the rowing machine to the music – is waiting for you at FlowRow Studio.
Are there changing facilities in the studio?
Yes. FlowRow Studio has a changing area, separated for women and men, as well as a restroom. The best is to arrive about 5–10 minutes before training – no need to come earlier.
Is parking available at the studio?
Yes, there are parking options directly near FlowRow Studio in Ennetbaden. The studio is also easy to reach by public transport.
What happens in a trial session?
You will be personally welcomed by Andreas, receive a short introduction to the rowing machine – and then you can join the group class right away. After 60 minutes you’ll go home with a good feeling and new energy.
Is FlowRow also back training?
Yes. Rowing is considered one of the most effective back trainings, as it improves strength, mobility and posture at the same time. With the FlowRow Board you also train balance and core – perfect to prevent back pain.
How is FlowRow different from Yoga or Pilates?
Yoga and Pilates are wonderful training methods for flexibility and body awareness. FlowRow complements these approaches with endurance and full-body strength. While you mainly work on the mat in Yoga and Pilates, in Indoor Rowing you experience dynamic, flowing movements on the rowing machine – a holistic workout for stability and energy.
What is Indoor Rowing with the FlowRow Board?
Indoor Rowing is rowing training on the ergometer – a joint-friendly full-body workout that strengthens endurance, strength and core alike.
With the FlowRow Board it becomes an experience like on the water: wave motion, balance and an even more intense training effect for posture and core.
Unlike classic rowing workouts, which are often monotonous, we don’t just train one-dimensionally (back and forth), but use the rowing machine as a true fitness partner. This creates diverse, multidimensional movements that challenge muscles, coordination and balance in new ways.
You won’t find this training anywhere else in the world – unique at FlowRow Studio in Ennetbaden.
